What is PAS2030?
PAS 2030 is a specification that outlines how to install energy-efficient improvement measures in existing buildings in the UK. In order to meet the UK’s 2050 goal of carbon neutrality, this specification allows construction businesses to work on projects within the Warm Homes Social Housing Fund.
The PAS2030 specification allows construction companies to install energy-efficient measures in these 3 areas:
- Heating, such as condensing boilers and underfloor heating
- Electrical, such as storage heaters and light fittings
- And finally, Insulation, including pitched roofing and flat roofing.
