Expertise In The
Following Areas:

SERVICES

Our new build commercial scaffolding offer is designed to support large-scale projects. Here at Embassy, we have decades of experience in providing scaffolding and access for both new build and remedial projects of varying sizes for our commercial clients.

Our Scaffolding Division understands that in the new build commercial sector, deadlines and safety are non-negotiable. Our structures are designed to facilitate multiple trades simultaneously while ensuring your site remains fully compliant and your public-facing reputation stays protected.

These structures often require complex engineering and design to handle heavy foot traffic from multiple trades and the weight of industrial materials. Safety is the top priority here, including the safety of our clients, the public, our own staff and all other trades working on and around our scaffolding.

Specialising in high-volume, multi-unit projects, we provide efficient scaffolding services tailored for housing associations and local councils. Residential projects require expertise in dealing with the public, something which our team here at Embassy Site Services has in abundance.

We recognise that these sites are people’s homes, which is why we prioritise resident safety and minimal disruption. We ensure incorporating extra safety and security measures, particularly regarding public protection and preventing unauthorised access to the scaffold.

Whether your project requires a full roof replacement across a block of flats or window maintenance, the emphasis is on project efficiency and resident safety.

Demolition requires a unique level of structural expertise, and our heavy-duty scaffolding is built to handle that pressure. Our Scaffolding Division provides total containment solutions designed to support buildings as they are dismantled, preventing structural failure and protecting the surrounding environment.

Using reinforced shoring and high-density Monarflex sheeting, we ensure that dust, debris, and noise are strictly managed, allowing your demolition team to work safely in even the most congested urban locations.

Our heritage scaffolding services are specifically engineered for listed buildings, monuments, and structures of historical significance where preservation is the absolute priority. Fully compliant with local authority requirements and English Heritage standards, we utilise non-invasive fixing techniques and specialised protective padding to ensure that even the most delicate stonework or ancient timber remains untouched. Our team works in tandem with conservation experts to provide safe, secure access that honours the architectural integrity of the past while facilitating restorations for the future.

When it comes to facade transformations and large-scale external upgrades, our cladding works scaffolding provides the precision and stability your project demands. We design bespoke access solutions that allow for the seamless installation of panels, insulation, and glazing across expansive surface areas. By prioritising high-load capacities and wide-working platforms, we ensure your cladding teams have the necessary space and security to work at peak efficiency. From high-rise residential blocks to industrial warehouses, we deliver the structural backbone that makes modern, energy-efficient exterior finishes possible.

Scaffolding Technology

Embassy Site Services are a versatile company, with a diverse clientele. To be sure we always offer the best solution for every project, we have an in-house team focused on staying abreast of new developments our industry has to offer. Below is a selection of technology currently used and endorsed by Embassy Site Services.

HAKI SYSTEM

HAKI SYSTEM

Embassy are a long term partner of HAKI, solely using their System scaffold stair towers. We recognise that the HAKI System has been designed with ultimate efficiency and safety in mind. HAKI is used throughout the UK construction industry and worldwide.

CANTIDECK BY CONQUIP

With a high working load limit and fast installation, Embassy utilises CantiDeck loading platforms, together with site tower cranes, to enable us to distribute materials more efficiently on site.

CATCHFAN

Embassy Site Services use Catchfans manufactured and tested to be fully compliant with European Standard EN-1263-1 Type T, meaning they are capable of arresting a 100kg mass twice, on any part of the system, from a 7m drop height.

MONARFLEX SCAFFOLD CLADDING

Monarflex is a high-performance, reinforced polyethylene sheeting designed to provide a rugged “skin” for our structures. It shields teams from harsh weather while ensuring dust and debris remain contained.

Beyond protection, we offer fully branded cladding options, allowing our clients to turn their work zone into a professional, high-visibility marketing opportunity for their project.

SAFE LIFT ZONES

A “Safe Lift” is a designated, fully engineered corridor within the scaffold structure specifically for moving materials. By isolating the lifting process within a dedicated, boarded, and netted bay, we create a physical barrier between moving loads and our workers. This engineered approach significantly reduces the risk of collisions or accidents during site-wide material distribution.

MODULAR SYSTEM ROOFS

A “Safe Lift” is a designated, fully engineered corridor within the scaffold structure specifically for moving materials. By isolating the lifting process within a dedicated, boarded, and netted bay, we create a physical barrier between moving loads and our workers. This engineered approach significantly reduces the risk of collisions or accidents during site-wide material distribution.

SELF RETRACTING LINELINES (SRLs)

Self-Retracting Lifelines, or Fall Arrest Blocks, are designed to lock instantly the moment a fall is detected. By minimising the free-fall distance and reducing impact forces on the body, they provide superior protection over traditional lanyards. These are standard-issue for our teams during the critical phases of scaffold erection and dismantling.

EMERGENCY RETRIEVAL BLOCKS

Our retrieval blocks are specialised fall-arrest devices featuring an integrated winch for emergency rescue operations. If a worker experiences a fall, the block allows them to be safely raised or lowered to a secure platform immediately. This is a critical component of our rescue-at-height strategy, ensuring we are prepared for any scenario.

CONTINUOUS MAN LIFELINES

Embassy installs horizontal and vertical man lifeline systems to provide continuous fall-arrest anchorage for workers. These systems allow operatives to move freely along the scaffold or structure while remaining securely attached at all times. This eliminates the need for constant unhooking and re-hooking, significantly reducing the risk of human error during transit.

BRAKE-ASSISTED GIN WHEELS

Unlike standard wheels that rely solely on operative strength, our brake-assisted models feature an automatic mechanical failsafe. If an operative loses their grip or the rope slips, the internal brake engages instantly to lock the load in place. This technology eliminates the risk of free-falling materials, ensuring safer vertical lifting operations on every project.

RETACTABLE TRANSOMS

Retractable transoms offer a flexible alternative to traditional fixed protrusions. By allowing the inner support bar to be retracted when not in use, we can pull back scaffold boards during non-working hours. This is particularly vital for projects on narrow high streets or public walkways, where minimising the scaffold footprint is essential for public safety.

MECHANICAL BOARD LIFTERS

MECHANICAL BOARD LIFTERS

We prioritise the physical well-being of our team by utilising mechanical board lifters. These devices safely raise and position scaffold boards without the risk of trapped fingers or back strain. By reducing manual handling and improving control during installation, we ensure that the assembly process is as ergonomic as it is structurally sound.

MECHANICAL TUBE LIFTERS

Our mechanical tube lifters are essential for safely transporting scaffold tubes to higher lifts. This equipment eliminates the dangerous practice of manual “throwing” or hand-to-hand passing of heavy tubes. By automating the vertical transit of materials, we significantly reduce the risk of dropped objects and repetitive strain injuries for our site teams.

PRECISION CRAB CLAMPS

The Crab Clamp is a specialist fitting used to secure scaffold tubes at right angles within restricted or tight spaces. This technology provides a strong, reliable connection in areas where standard fittings simply cannot fit. It allows our engineers to maintain structural integrity and safety even in the most complex and constrained architectural environments.

HEAVY-DUTY TRANSIT BAGS

To maintain a tidy and safe workspace, we use heavy-duty transit bags for transporting fittings and small tools. These bags keep equipment organised during transit and prevent loose items from becoming dropped-object hazards. This simple yet effective technology is a cornerstone of our commitment to maintaining a clean, professional, and accident-free site.

TREDDA PLATE FOUNDATIONS

Tredda Plates are high-visibility base plates used to spread the load of scaffold standards across soft or uneven ground. These plates are essential for preventing sinking and ensuring a stable, level foundation for the entire structure. By increasing the surface area of the load, we ensure the scaffold remains plumb and secure regardless of ground conditions.

ADJUSTABLE BASE PLATES

To achieve a perfectly level scaffold on uneven surfaces, Embassy utilises adjustable base jacks. These components allow for fine-tuned height adjustments, ensuring that every standard is plumb and the weight is distributed evenly across the foundation. This precision is critical for the structural stability and overall safety of any complex scaffolding installation.

ULTRATUFF RUBBLE CHUTES

The Ultratuff Rubble Chute system provides a safe, enclosed path for directing waste material from height directly to ground-level skips. This technology eliminates the need for manual carrying of debris down ladders and prevents materials from being thrown from the scaffold. It is a vital tool for maintaining site cleanliness and preventing falling-object accidents.

SCAFFOLD SHEAR TIE PLATES

Shear tie plates are engineered to create a secure, high-load connection between the scaffold and the permanent structure. These plates prevent lateral movement and ensure the scaffold remains strictly compliant with tie-load requirements. By utilising these specialised plates, we can guarantee the stability of our scaffolds even under significant wind loads.

MALVERN KEY TIE SYSTEMS

The Malvern Key Tie is a specialist solution used to connect tube-and-fitting scaffolds to buildings via keyhole-style anchor points. This provides an incredibly strong and reusable tie solution that minimises damage to the host structure. It is an ideal choice for projects where structural integrity and discreet, secure fixing points are required.

SUPERIOR SCAFF STEP

The Superior Scaff Step is a safe access system that provides an additional platform height for scaffolders when reaching for the next lift. This ergonomic tool reduces the need for overreaching, which is a common cause of strain and instability. By providing a stable temporary step, we ensure our crew can work comfortably and safely at height.

Design

As a scaffolding company with an in-house design team, we’ve experienced several notable advantages that come with this. We produce designs much more efficiently by having an in-house team as we can speed up the process, allowing emergency works to go ahead swiftly. It also assists with our ability to start projects much quicker.

Our internal design team allows us to swiftly adapt to changing project requirements, reducing our reliance on external design firms and any potential for delays. Our close collaboration between the design team and our management teams means that everyone is on the same page regarding installation and any design adaptations that need to be made.

As well as our in-house design team, our managers hold temporary works qualifications. This means that the whole process from start to finish is completed fully within the guidelines. All our temporary works processes go through the relevant checks before any scaffolding is installed, giving our customers peace of mind.

Lastly, our in-house team have a fantastic relationship with our scaffolders, meaning that they are able to collaborate on any issues that arise during scaffolding erection. This culture allows our teams to work together and get the best results for our customers.

For more complex, site specific design, Embassy partner with premier engineering consultancies, Kitall Ltd. and G W Coote. Both companies have outstanding reputations, earned by delivering some of the largest and most complex projects within the UK.

Our carefully cultivated, long-standing relationships with these companies mean that Embassy Site Services’ clients benefit from their expert knowledge and resources.

Our pro-active approach means all clients benefit from:
