A crucial part of our Academy is the learning and resources available to both our staff and the wider industry.
Personal Development and overall wellbeing is key to a fulfilling career in construction, so having a bank of resources that you can pull from is our obligation as a business operating in construction.
We also know how fast the industry changes in terms of regulation, guidance and legislation. That’s why we are committed to updating our resources on a regular basis, to ensure anyone who needs them has the most up to date information.
ASK
AiDEN
The fast-paced nature of the construction industry has meant Embassy Site Services have always been at the forefront of innovation. We recognise the need for our team to access information quickly, concisely and accurately. Utilising the power of AI, Ask Aiden was created to tackle this exact challenge.
In a world where limitless information is at our fingertips, AskAiden allows our team to access a controlled library of information, ensuring everyone gets accurate answers that can solve their specific problem.
As an early adopter of AI in the scaffolding and roofing game, we hope to expand the capability of Aiden across our business, as and when the technology allows.
Work Mate Tales
With BOB & TREVOR
Team Embassy are a tight knit collective, all dedicated to working together to deliver the best to our clients, in the safest possible way. Knowing that our team believes in the way we do things is hugely important to us, and we know that flying the flag for Embassy is something they do off site, as well as onsite.
So, we created Bob and Trevor to help not only show our appreciation to our staff, but also to communicate the Embassy way; what makes us different and how that impacts the wellbeing of our team.
‘Work Mate Tales’ is the story of Bob & Trevor, lifelong friends and fellow construction workers. Bob works for Embassy, Trevor doesn’t…

How to Look After Your Mental Health & Support Others
Suicide disproportionately affects those within the Construction Industry. Research has shown that construction workers are four times more likely to die by suicide compared to other industries, and that suicide rates in our industry are at their highest since recordings began. In most cases, suicide comes as a result of unresolved mental health issues.
As a community, we owe it to everyone within the Construction Industry to end the stigma around mental health and around talking about our feelings and struggles.
In order to support those within the industry, and change these alarming statistics, our collective attitude to mental health and talking about our feelings and struggles simply has to change. At Embassy Site Services, we encourage our employees to prioritise their mental health and to ask for help when they need it.
But we understand that asking for help or talking openly about our struggles can be difficult. If you don’t feel comfortable speaking with someone you know, there are plenty of people who will listen and advise. Please find our recommended resources below:

Don’t Do Drugs
Of course, abusing alcohol or drugs is problematic whatever your circumstances, but when working in construction, not being on form risks not just your safety, but the safety of those around you. It has been found that over half of construction workers in the UK have felt concerned about how drugs and alcohol affect their colleagues.
Don’t put those around you in danger. If you need help with drugs or alcohol, check out these resources:
