Wates

Duration:

6 Weeks

Location:

Kensington, London

Project Overview

  • This project included a bespoke design temporary roof scaffolding solution.
  • This allowed our roofing division to efficiently install new Langley warm roof coverings, non-combustible insulation, and a new slate façade.
  • At Embassy Site Services, social value is crucial. That’s why we also proudly restored the community garden benches for the residents to enjoy at their leisure.
  • We also joined our client Wates in painting some new pots to go on the roof garden, alongside residents of the building.

Project Key Challenges

  • As a live building, this project required careful consideration of the residents.
  • A bespoke design was required for the temporary roof, in order to facilitate our work.

Quotes from ESS Staff

“We are proud to have completed this project on time, within budget and without any accidents reported on site. It was also a delight to spend time with some residents painting some new pots for their community garden. We were also able to restore the benches as a part of our social value initiative.”
